1960s Guyatone LG-50T Offset Mosrite Copy (MIJ)
A super fun, super quirky Guyatone from the late 1960s, the LG-50T was Japan's answer to the surf rock craze of the era, sporting deep, Mosrite style german carves, big curves and flowing lines and a jangly tremolo system with a short (24.5") scale length. The original Guyatone pickups are beautifully articulate and have a wonderful vintage tone capable of covering a wide variety of genres.
This one has seen it's fair share of playwear but doesn't detract from the 60s playing experience whatsoever! The body is straight with only minor chips and finish checking and the action is comfortable and intonates well. Someone has removed the selector switch and done some rather interesting inlay work at some point, so it's running a single volume for each pickup setup. We've upgraded the harness with Alpha 250k pots, a new jack socket and fresh wiring to keep the tone, as well as new screws across the board and a professional setup with 10-46s. Plays and sounds like your next lofi dream!
