1967 Gibson SG Special Cherry Red (w/ Short Maestro Vibrola, HSC)
Now this one is all about the vibe of a vintage guitar that has been played for decades but still retains all original parts (aside from a new jack socket); the type of guitar that custom shops try their very best to imitate, but can never get quite right. Well this is the real deal! Extreme lacquer checking, finish flaking off in all the right spots, buckle rash and a beautifully faded finish. Although it's been played hard, it remains unmodified and even has it's original frets and fret nibs which have loads of life left in them and have been freshly dressed and machine polished. This is the revised SG with the larger batwing guard and witch hat knobs, as well as a slimmer D shaped neck profile. Original P90s are in great health and sound absolutely insane!
Professionally setup with 10-46s, this is a great vintage player that you don't have to be too careful with (well, maybe a little bit). An absolute epic SG with an insanely cool worn in vibe. Comes with a non-original hard shell case.
