The Mirage/Iceman was a joint design venture between Ibanez and Greco in the mid 1970s in an attempt to break away from traditional western designs at the time (basically Strats and Teles). The Mirage/Iceman is the same guitar made in the same factory (Fujigen) since the 70s, the only difference being the distribution rights in different countries resulting in different model names. You can now tell everyone who says this isn't an Iceman, that it is. This one is an extremely rare set neck 1978 model in a deep metallic blue sparkle with it's original Greco PU-0C "PAF" style medium output humbuckers. This thing is an absolute weapon and is in amazing condition for it's age, it looks and sounds the business. The action is low and slinky with no dead spots, the neck is nice and straight and the pickups sound incredible when driven!

Just had a full pro service and setup with 10-46s, at some point the nut has been replaced (genuine bone) and there has been some slight finish touch up around the area. This is purely cosmetic and has no adverse effect on the guitar. Present also are some small chips and finish swirling, but all in keeping with the age of the guitar and very minimal. Comes with it's original fitted hard shell case!
