1980s Roland Alpha Juno-1 49 Key Analog Synthesizer
Released as a successor to the Juno-106, The Alpha Juno series was sported a similar DCO engine to it's predecessor, but with digitised menus and enhanced MIDI capabilities. Not quite as warm in sound as the previous Juno's but still a nice addition to any techno synth rig. Sliders and buttons were replaced by membrane buttons and the Alpha Dial which is used to edit and browse through the extensive selection of parameters: DCO digitally controlled oscillators, LFO, bend, ENV, pulse, waveforms, noise, PW/PWM, high pass filter, VCF (filter) with freq/env/res/LFO/kybd, VCA envelope, chorus, and more.
This particular unit is in good condition and has just had a full service, all keys and contacts cleaned, however it does have some chassis wear and tear from use over the years. Despite the visual scuffs and marks, the keyboard is in great working order, all buttons and programs work perfectly. 240V Australian domestic version, no need for a stepdown transformer!
