1993-94 Fender Stratocaster "Strat Plus" Caribbean Mist (w/ HSC)

First introduced in 1987 as the top of the line Fender Stratocaster model underneath Custom Shop guitars, the Strat Plus series was originally designed by George Blanda and was intended to be a Jeff Beck's signature guitar; however due to a change of heart the 'prototype' guitar was returned to Fender and was  introduced into the Fender line as a production model; the Strat Plus! It was was the first to introduce the Lace Sensor pickups developed by Don Lace and had a lot of other super cool features like a roller nut, locking tuners and a two-point tremolo system. The Strat Plus line of guitars went on to become the American Deluxe, then the American Elite, and is now what we know today as the American Ultra. This is the original super Strat!

This is a wonderful original example (aside from an added string tree) in the rare metallic colour "Caribbean Mist". It's been professionally setup with 10-46s and is playing like a dream. Comes with a non-original hard shell case!
