1995 Fender James Burton Telecaster MIM (Maple Neck) (w/ HSC)
Famous for playing alongside the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, James Burton is a legendary session guitarist and esteemed inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In his hands at just about all times is a Fender Telecaster, and his 1953 Candy Apple Red iteration became a Mexican Standard Artist Signature model in 1995.
Case in point! This 1995 James Burton Signature Telecaster is all original and in great condition. The candy apple red finish was either extra candy-filled from the factory or has undergone some serious chemical reactions from within, as it is possessing some serious lava lamp qualities - which we have absolutely no issue with because it looks incredible.
Just had a professional setup with 10-46s, the neck is seriously chunky with a nice action and great note articulation up and down the fingerboard. Comes with a non-original tweed case.
