With grain this good, who needs a pickguard? This pre-serial Greco (made before 1975) Jazz Bass has some of the best figured Sen Ash we've seen! Pickguard has been removed long ago but we have no problem with that, and we're sure you won't mind either. Made by Matsumoku group in the early 70s, this is a super slick Jazz Bass with a 3 piece bound maple neck with big block inlays, 3 piece body and classic Jazz sound and feel. The pickups are warm and articulate with plenty of tonal range, electronics are clean and working well and there's no buzzing or dead spots on the neck.

We've just given this one a full setup and service, she's playing smoothly with 45-100s and we've installed a new Switchcraft USA jack socket to keep your signal strong. Apart from that and the missing pickguard, she's in great original condition. Comes with a hard shell case (missing handle, easily replaced).
