Early 1970s Guyatone EB-25 Offset Bass
A super sweet little bass with a super big, punchy tone, this EB-25 was made in the early 1970s by Guyatone and is a truly epic instrument that plays and sounds incredible thanks to a full restoration and setup! Although Fender-esque in design, the offset body has different design cues that almost put it closer to a Stratocaster shape, possibly a lovechild between a Strat and a Jazz Bass! The original Maxon humbucker is rich and full with plenty of punch at 11.5kOhms and the body, neck and truss rod are all in great shape.
We've given it a full setup with 45-100s, height set the zero fret, lubricated the truss rod and installed a new Switchcraft jack socket. The tone is solid and the playability is fantastic.
