Definitely a love it or hate it design, putting such a classic model straight into a 4-string guise with almost no change in design can be a little jolting when first laying eyes on it. Or you might love it straight off the bat. You do you! One thing is for certain, this thing plays and sounds killer. Grassroots is ESP's Korean subsidiary, and they certainly haven't skimped on design, features or playability. A super slick D shaped neck, 2 overwound humbuckers (16.2k!), individual blendable volume controls and heavy duty gold finished hardware, this bass feels solid as a rock in the hands and can pump out some seriously massive tones.

Freshly set up with 45-100s, it's playing very comfortably indeed. This one has garnished a few stickers in it's lifetime so there's a few tan lines, however they are very hard to see in most lighting situations.
