1966 Teisco K-2L Shark Fin Bizarre Electric Guitar (MIJ)
Always quirky and super fun instruments, Teiscos are becoming highly collectable and sought after thanks to their whacky designs, awesome pickups and miriads of switching options that allow for epic tonal versatility. This one ticks all the boxes, it's a late 60s K-2L with the epic shark fin headstock and deeply German carved body. These were only in production for one year (yep, 1966!) and there were only 6500 ever made so this one is a rarity! The guitar is in fantastic all original condition apart from a fresh Switchcraft jack socket. Vintage square pole pickups sound epic, heaps of switches and knobs to keep you busy and just an all round epic guitar! This one has a crazy hard V neck profile which definitely feels hand carved and finished, certainly one for lovers of Vs!
This guitar has been fully set up and serviced with 1046s. The neck is nice and straight, all switches and pots work flawlessly and without noise. Unfortunately the tremolo is missing the spring and arm so as it stands the tremolo is essentially blocked (fixed bridge). Can be easily modified to be used again. Comes with a gig bag!
