Mozz (Teisco) SG Bass 1970s MIJ Short Scale
A super cute little doom machine spawned in the 1970s in the same factory as many Tiesco instruments at the time, this short scale (30.3") bass packs a serious punch out of it's original hex pole P90 style bass pickups. A nice and chunky C shaped neck plays suprisingly smoothly considering it's girth with a nice low-medium action and perfect note articulation at every fret. The pickups have a huge wooly sound to them with nice metallic overtones thanks to the 0 fret setup meaning metal to metal contact from nut to saddle.
Missing it's original and ridiculous pickup cover (if you can even call it that, good riddance we think), and at some stage has recieved a machine head upgrade. We've dialed this one in perfectly with 45100s and a full set up. To go with that we've also installed a new Switchcraft USA jack socket, an orange drop tone cap and a new set of pots with 22AWG wiring to keep your signal flow rock solid for years to come. Perfect for anyone looking for that fast short scale bass action with a nice chunky 70s neck profile. Don't sleep on this one!
