An innovative little instrument for 1982, the Yamaha PS-400's sound generation is by Yamaha's Pulse Analogue Synthesis System, P.A.S.S., first used on the large home organs such as the C and D Series. This little keyboard packs a great lo-fi punch and looks incredible in it's rare dark red chassis. The PS-400 features a Transposer, a Chord Sequence memory, and a Duet function, which automatically harmonises each note played according to the selected chord key. The PS-400 also has an auto arpeggio feature, which adds a rippling effect to the auto accompaniment, similar to the PC-100, and a "4-bar Variation" button, which invokes an automatic rhythm percussion variation every fourth bar.

Classic FM sounds, fun rhythms and arpeggios in a classic 80s package. This PS-400 features a moulded carry case in matching dark red and can run on battery power making this little synth the perfect portable companion. This one is in absolutely brand new condition, it looks like it's only been played a handful of times and still has the original cable tie on the power supply. Power supply is 100-240V but does have a Japanese plug on it so may require an adapter.
