The Aston Spirit is a high-performance, switchable pattern, microphone utilising a one inch, dual diaphragm, gold evaporated capsule. A switch on the mic body selects from Omni, Cardioid or figure-of-eight polar patterns. It is versatile enough to use with most instruments in addition to main and backing vocals. Its hand-selected capsule is teamed with high-end transformer balanced circuitry using only the highest quality electronic components. Its dual pad option allows it to accommodate very high SPLs while its low cut filter cuts the ultra-lows.
The Spirit is designed to deliver a beautifully open sound with sparkling harmonics. This microphone is capable of delivering a stunningly natural and transparent sound with just a subtle hint of flattery, capturing all the detail in the high range but without adding the harshness that some capacitor microphones are prone to.

How much is shipping?
We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
