1960s Teisco SG Bass (Kay K2B) (Short Scale MIJ)
Made by Teisco/Kay company in the late 1960s, this super sweet SG style bass is unassuming at first glance but a total weapon in terms of playability and sound! Sporting a 30.7" scale at a modest and very comfortable 3.2kg, the sen ash body is loaded with a pair of massive Maxon humbuckers with individual volume and tone for each. They offer a broad frequency spectrum with all the punch and growl you'd expect from a set of vintage pickups.
In great condition for it's age, this bass has it's fair share of bumps, chips and bruises but feels rock solid and has no structural issues whatsoever. It's just had a professional setup, the 0 fret height is dialed in, the neck is straight and super comfortable with no dead spots and we've installed a brand new Switchcraft jack socket to keep the tone rock solid. Playing buttery smooth with 45-100s, comes with a soft case.
