Introduced in 1956 as a student model and a step below the Fender Mustang, the Musicmaster is a staple of the single pickup guitar club that has a super cool vibe, a super cool sound and a super tiny 22.5" neck! Speaking of the Fender Mustang, these shared a body route template in the production line so under the pickguard is actually room for another single coil in the bridge. Pretty cool! This one has a March 1964 neck stamp and sports all original features and is completely unmodified! Original Stackpole pots, single coil pickup, frets, celluloid pickguard and hardware.
Fret life is amazing for a guitar of this vintage with absolutely no pitting, dents or divits thanks to a full service I've given it and professional fret dress. The Dakota Red nitrocellulose finish is bright and beautifully checked in all the right places, although it does have some buckle rash on the back side and a few chips and dings here and there for good measure. The single coil pickup is bright and chimey with a clear and sparkly vintage tone. So what could be better than an all original, pre-CBS vintage Fender in amazing working order? One with it's original tolex hard shell case of course!

How much is shipping?
We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
