Only made for a single year (that's right, 1975) in the Matsumoku factory in Japan, the TV-500 is an extremely rare offering from Greco that is only catalogued for one year and then disappeared from existence! No serial numbers or stamps, this model is extremely elusive and is an exceptional guitar in every way. Everything about this guitar is very Gibson; set neck mahogany construction, rounded edges, dogear P90 and lightning wraparound, Greco did a fantastic job of cloning one of the best electric guitars ever offered by Gibson. It even has a legitimate cellulose guard!
The mahogany neck has a beautiful slim-taper style 60s Gibson style neck profile and feels amazing in the hands. The 43mm nut width is not too thick and not too thin but allows for a wide range of hand sizes to get around this neck very comfortably. The single dogear P90 has plenty of vintage grit and growl, this guitar sounds best cranked up to 11!
This guitar has been professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s and is playing very nicely indeed. It has had a new wiring harness installed with Alpha pots and fresh wiring, however the vintage Maxon pickup is original and sounding great. It's also had the machine heads replaced with Kluson style tuners and a strap pin added to the upper horn for plenty of strap position fun! The guitar has plenty of wear and tear but is free from any cracks, breaks or structural issues. Comes with its original Greco hard shell case!

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
