A super cool and fun offering from Fresher Japan in the 80s, the FRS series was the ultimate in shred-tastic guitars and basses with many models equipped with single high output pickups, high mass tremolo systems and super fast, super playable necks. This is the SS-38 Stratocaster model equipped with a single Invader style high output humbucker, single volume and tone control configuration and 6 point tremolo with factory brass saddles. Constructed from pancake mahogany with a maple neck and 25.5" rosewood fingerboard, it's finished in a deep crimson red with single layer cream binding around the top perimeter of the body. 

The full scale neck has a nice slim to medium D profile which makes playability an absolute breeze. The crimson red finish includes the entire body, headstock and the back of the neck, so if you like the feel of a high gloss finished neck, this will feel great for you. The massive single humbucker has a nice high output, making this ideal for hard rock and metal genres! If you want a no-nonsense, hard rock machine with minimal controls and big tone, this axe will certainly suffice!

Professionally setup and serviced with 10-46s, it's playing slinky with a low, fast action and pumps out some massive humbucker tones! In 100% original condition aside from two new control knobs, the guitar is in great condition with the exception of some separation on the mahogany pancake seam on the upper bout. This has been tested and confirmed to be non-structural and stable, posing no issue to the integrity of the guitar. Frets have absolutely no wear on them and aside from a few chips and dings, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its 40+ year age.
