1982 Ibanez BL-800BS Blazer Bass (MIJ Fujigen) (w/ OHSC)

Released as a successor to the Roadstar series of guitars and basses, the Blazer line was introduced in 1980 as an alternative to Fender offerings of the time with tweaked design elements and hotter pickups. This BL-800BS was made in 1982 in the famed Fujigen plant to the highest quality standards, and it's a total ripper of a bass! The split P pickup has a massive low end thud with plenty of attack, factory loaded high mass brass hardware and love heart tuning keys.

We've just given this one a full professional setup and service including a full fret dress, new Switchcraft jack socket and a fresh set of 45-100s. It has a nice low action and is ready to pump out plenty of massive 80s tones. At some point somebody has added a brass thumb rest and part of the pickguard has a slight chip - aside from this the bass is all original and in great shape. Comes with it's original hard shell case!
