1983 Vantage Avenger X-77 (MIJ) (w/ HSC)
Canadian designed but Matsumoku made, the Vantage Avenger X-77 is probably what you'd get if an SG shacked up with a Strat! The carves and sharp edges are very much SG, whilst the overall body shape is definitely closer to a Strat. It's a very original design with some great contours! Sound wise she's loaded with MMK-45 humbuckers which have fully adjustable polepieces and run a nice high output without being too honky. They clean up very nicely and get dirty just the same! Les Paul style controls with coil splits on the tone controls, 25.5" full scale length and brass hardware fitout.
She's just had a professional service and setup with 10-46s and is now a total shred machine. Frets have only minor pitting and the guitar is in great condition for it's age. Comes with a non-original Ibanez style hard case!
