1991 Gibson Les Paul Custom Wine Red (OHSC + Candy)
First introduced in 1953, the Les Paul Custom is the cream of the crop when it comes to Gibson's range of solid body electric guitars. Thick maple tops with deep carves, multiply binding front and back and the iconic split diamond inlay borrowed from the Super 400 series. This one was birthed in 1991 in Nashville and sports a beautifully figured 3 piece maple top, non-pancake mahogany body and mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. Patent No. pickups drive the huge, rich sound of this guitar with an absolutely belting 13.1k bridge pickup and a dark, jazzy neck pickup.
Completely original down to the last screw, this 1991 Custom is in fantastic condition with only minor chips and dings with light to moderate playwear. The original Schaller tune-o-matic does have some significant plating wear, however this does not affect tone or intonation.
Freshly overhauled and professionally setup with 10-46s, every element of this guitar has been gone over and serviced with a fine tooth comb and is in perfect working order. Comes with it's original hardshell case, owner's manual, truss adjuster and warranty card.
