The Texture Coated Reflector Snare Drum Batter ( TCREF) is about response and feel. It is about tone with control. The wide tuning range makes this head versatile and suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Every note remains identifiable when metrical precision is a must.
The bottom ply of this snare drum batter head uses a heavy-duty 10mil drumhead film which is denser and brighter than our standard drumhead material; the top layer uses Aquarian’s Classic Nu-Brite 7 mil drumhead film for warmth.
The result is a head that is a 2 ply head that is warm and musical at low volumes, bright and more articulate when played hard. This unique 17 mil REFLECTOR hybrid combination is what makes this head both durable and deliberate!
The NEW, slightly thicker than standard, SLATE GREY TEXTURE COATING, compliments the current Reflector heads and helps to warm up snare drum overtones.

How much is shipping?
We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 are a flat $8.99 shipping rate. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!
How long does shipping take?
It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:
For "Standard" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
- QLD: 3-5 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
- VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
- QLD: 1-2 days
- NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days
These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience. If you need a more accurate estimate of shipping time please contact us.
