Made in the famed Fujigen factory in 1979, this beautiful EG-900 Les Paul Standard is an exceptional example of Greco's high level of attention to detail and desire to emulate the magic and beauty of those original late 50s Les Pauls produced by Gibson. Produced just a few months before the mighty "Super Real" series would come into production, it features many of the hallmarks of that line of instruments with a host of premium, late 50s Gibson style appointments. 

The maple neck features cream binding on a 24.75" rosewood fingerboard and has a particularly slim and fast carve to it, likened to a slightly  slimmer-than-slim taper Gibson profile that feels fantastic and fast in the hands. Sporting original factory frets and fret nibs, the frets are a medium size with crowns intact and minimal wear. The original bone nut is present and sports a width of 43.5mm, as well as original Greco branded machine heads in excellent working order.

Featuring a dual set of factory loaded DiMarzio humbuckers sitting in the high 7kOhm range, this guitar's tonal palette is a formidable one, being capable of a wide range of styles from articulate and warm cleans, to searing crunch and overdriven tones, perfectly capturing the essence of late 50s PAFs in a slick cover-off, double cream aesthetic.

Professionally serviced top to bottom and professionally setup with 10-46s, the action is smooth and low with no buzzing or dead spots with fret life at approximately 95%. Condition wise, the guitar has a small number of dings and dents, as well as some authentic buckle rash to boot, however the guitar is in great condition for its age and has no structural issues, cracks or breaks. A great opportunity to get a top notch Les Paul at a fraction of the cost of the real thing, this EG-900 has excellent composure and playability suitable for anything from jazz to hard rock!
