From EHX: "The Screaming Bird pedal by Electro Harmonix is a compact, well-designed treble booster. Small and pedalboard-friendly, the Screaming Bird has a reliable, durable build that can withstand plenty of use. With just one control and one footswitch, once you plug in your guitar you're good to go. The Screaming Bird is based on the classic design of the 1970s, and as its moniker suggests, it is designed to really lift your sound. The pedal can be easily engaged via the true bypass footswitch, and there is a handy LED status indicator lights up in red when it has been switched on. The only control that the pedal has is a Boost dial, that's it, and it's all you need.

The Boost essentially acts as a volume control, and the pedal offers up to 20dB of high frequency gain to any amplifier. Its centre frequency is 1.6 KHz to 2.4 KHz at maximum volume. By increasing the Boost control, your guitar will absolutely scream and sqwawk like a bird! This treble booster effects pedal is suitable for any genre, whether you're a lead or rhythm guitarist, thanks to its versatile range of tones. Encased in a die-cast aluminium casing, the pedal is lightweight but not delicate, and can definitely take on a lot of use. It also has rubber feet at the bottom to enhance its grip when used on stage, so when you stomp down it won't move away from you. The Electro Harmonix Screaming Bird pedal is a superb treble booster which will truly add colour to your sound."

How much is shipping?

We offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $200 via standard courier services. For smaller items such as small parts and screws, we send via Australia Post regular mail service. All items below $200 incur a flat $8.99 shipping charge. Express services are also available at an extra cost, just select it at the checkout and we'll get your order out extra fast!

How long does shipping take?

It varies based on the destination and the products ordered. Orders for items that are in stock with our Lewisham store "135 New Canterbury Road, Lewisham 2049", are usually shipped same day, however items ordered from "Deep Tone Warehouse Supply" are special order items that are not stocked in the store. These items can take 2-4 business days to arrive to us from the supplier; from there, the item will be dispatched from our store and the nominated method of shipping will be followed:

For "Standard" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 2-4 days
  • QLD: 3-5 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 5-10 days +
For "Express" shipping:
  • VIC, SA and NSW: 1-2 days
  • QLD: 1-2 days
  • NT, WA and TAS: 1-3 days

These estimates do not apply if the destination is regional or remote. Once orders leave our warehouse we have no control over the actual shipping time, however we'll do everything we can to ensure a prompt and problem-free delivery experience.
