Not to be confused with the famous 1960 novel by Harper Lee, the Fernandes MG-115C Acrylic Mockingbird is a striking model to say the least. If that body shape wasn't enough, they decided to cast it in a very Mountain Dew shade of transparent acrylic resin! If you want a guitar that stands out in every way imaginable, look no further. A signature model for Japanese musician and guitarist Hideto Matsumoto (Hide), Hideto is a huge fan of the Mockingbird shape and so commisioned Fernandes to make a number of signature runs of this shape of guitar for him.

Made in Japan by Fernandes in 1999 and cast from acrylic resin into the classic Mockingbird shape, this MG-115 is a real shredder of a guitar with a super fast and moderately slim D shaped neck, 24.75" scale length rosewood board and outfitted with Gotoh hardware, as well as an extremely beefy active 9V powered FGI humbucker as stock, this thing pumps out some razor sharp metal tones but will also clean up nicely to do slightly more tame tone work.

Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, this bad boy is all original down to the last screw and is in great condition for its age. The acrylic body is free from any chips, dings or cracks and is rock solid. The frets have some moderate wear on them and are sitting at about 70% fret life, however the guitar is very playable with a super slinky action and great playability.
