Crafted in Hagstrom's Swedish factory in the mid 1960s, the F-11 (also known as the Hagstrom I) was a budget friendly electric guitar with a host of super unique design elements that has made it a cult-classic amongst players and collectors alike. Built to a fairly high standard for the 1960s, the F-11 features a solid plywood body with a vinyl wrapping and a super cool acrylic shell mounted on top which houses the pickups, bridge and electronics. 

The neck is solid maple and sports a 24.75" scale length, an ultra slim D shape profile and a slender rosewood fingerboard with a 22 original vintage frets and a 38.5mm nut width. The open gear machine heads are smooth and have been cleaned and oiled. The neck features a great Hagstrom innovation of the time, the "Expander Stretcher" truss rod, a H shaped truss rod similar in nature to an I beam, designed to be structurally very strong and keep the neck nice and straight. 

The electronics are all original and are mated to a set of Hagstrom original single coils, producing very 60s Strat style tones but with a nice Swedish spin to them. Chimey and bright but with plenty of sonic breadth for a wide variety of genres and styles. Plenty of on/off switches to keep you busy (or confused, depending on the type of person you are).

Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with the expected amount of wear for a guitar of this vintage. Frets are original, and as such are quite minuscule. If you're a fan of fretless wonders, you'll be right at home here! Guitar has a few dings, dents and chips here and there but overall presents very nicely.
