Teisco/Guyatone 60s Bizarre Offset Electric Guitar (MIJ)
In what can only be described as a bizarre blend of old and new, this heavily modified late 60s electric guitar features modern on/off toggle switches, aftermarket custom pickguard and a custom wiring setup, as well as a pair of super sweet overwound vintage single coil pickups. Likely starting life as a Teisco or Guyatone in the late 60s, this sweet offset guitar features a 25.5" full scale rosewood fingerboard on a nyatoh mahogany neck bolted to an offset mahogany body.
We've just given this bad boy a professional setup with 10-46s and installed a Switchcraft jack socket to keep your tone rock solid. The frets are low but with plenty of life left, it has a nice medium/low action with no dead spots. The pickups are rich and chimey with a nice broad frequency response. This guitar is definitely capable of a range of musical genres and would be right at home playing anything from punk through to tasty jazz runs. Comes with a gig bag!
